I too have just been given a classroom with a SMARTboard. I am looking forward to reading about how you try out new things, and will be watching your blog! I have also just been introduced to SOLO by a colleague, and will be trying to sort it all out in my mind, so that I can use it in my class. At the moment the SMARTboard is a great hit, because so much info and fun tutorials are available through youtube. I have a year 5 class, with 20 boys and just 8 girls, so especially the boys are loving the sound, sight and motion possibilities.
